Play The Game of What If and Why Not

Most of us spend so much time overthinking, doubting, and waiting for the "right" moment. But envision that today was the day everything changed.

Imagine if today was the day you booked your dream hotel client?
What if today was a $25,000 cash day?
What would happen if today, instead of playing small, you played BIG?

Too often, we attach meaning to things that haven’t happened yet—convincing ourselves that success is still out of reach. But what if the only thing standing in your way is the belief that you’re not ready?

It’s time to play The What If & Why Not Game and rewire the way you think about your business.

Why Reframing this mindset is a Game-Changer

When we’re building a business, we tend to focus on all the reasons things won’t work.

  • "What if the hotel says no?"
  • "What if I don’t land the client?"
  • "What if I fail?"

But what happens when we flip the script?

  • "What if: the hotel loves my pitch?"
  • "What if they say, ‘Where have you been?!’"
  • "What if today I sign a six-figure contract?"

Your brain doesn’t know the difference between reality and imagination—it only knows what you tell it. So, when you train yourself to think in possibility instead of limitation, your actions shift, your confidence grows, and your results start catching up to your vision.

Stop Waiting & Start Acting

The key to success isn’t just mindset—it’s taking action on that mindset.

1️⃣ Write down your biggest ‘What If’ question.
2️⃣ Create a daily action plan that moves you toward it. (For example, if your goal is to book a $100,000 client, you need to be reaching out to high-budget accounts every single day.)
3️⃣ Commit to consistency. If you don’t show up for your business, how can you expect clients to show up for you?

If you’ve been following along, you’ll remember our blog post on Making an Appointment vs. Showing Up. I talked about how waiting for the "right moment" can hold you back and how showing up before you feel ready can be the game-changer your business needs.

Because the florist who shows up first? The florist who walks into the hotel, introduces themselves, and starts the conversation? That’s the florist who wins.

Your success is already in motion—the only question is, will you step into it?

Your dream business isn’t just possible—it’s inevitable when you commit to showing up, taking action, and thinking bigger.  Loving this blog? Listen to the full podcast episode here.
